I could start LRTimelapse, select a folder, LRT loads the jpg files (from a game-cam only 2560x1440), Basic workflow and video preview - all OK
But when I click SAVE the bar says "Speichere..." but nothing happens for hours. Sometimes I can not terminate Java via the task manager so I have to shut the notebook down to terminate Java :-(

How can is solve this problem?

Please send me the log file (LRTimelapse info menu) after this happens.
Also you don't need to install any stand alone Java for LRTimelapse. You can uninstall it, if you don't need it for other programs.

Once LRTimelapse /Java got stuck, I can not access the log file via the LRTimelapse menu.

1. To start with clean conditions I moved the photo-file to a new folder and deleted the old folder and all LRT subfolders.
2. I opened Lightroom, located the new folder, removed all development and wrote metadata into files to remove whatever was done before
3. I opened LRTimelapse
4. seleceted the new folder and let LRT read data
5. set 3 keyframes
6. click save ... -> LRT /Java freeses
7. terminated Java with the task manager
8. copied the log file found in C:\Users\Hendrik\Documents\LRTimelapse:

There is no error or any anomaly visible in the log. Everything looks fine.
Do you by chance have any virus scanner or "security" software (apart from windows defender, which is fine) running that might be blocking LRTimelapse? Could you try whitelisting the folder "C:\Program Files\LRTimelapse 6" in your scanner and see if that helps?
Could you try another image folder with a different set of images and see if that works? Please do the default workflow that starts in LRTimelapse. You can reset everything via metadata/initialize to a clean start. Them proceed through the workflow starting in LRTimelapse as explained in https://LRTimelapse.com/workflow

Also: Does it only happen with JPG file or also with Raw files?

Sorry for the late answer, I was a bit busy last weeks.

LRTimelapse works fine with Canon Raw .CR3 files. :-)

I use AVAST virus scanner and whitelisted the named folder.
I tested LRTimelapse with a brand new set of almost 400 jpg files and LRTimelapse hangs up as soon as I click SAVE. :-(

I don't see any errors in the log file.
Please restart your computer to get rid of any running processes.
Then install the latest beta from https://lrtimelapse.com/download/beta - it features a detection for corrupt JPGs. If it shows any corrupt JPGs when you load the sequence, please choose to move them out of the folder.
After that try again to load it, do "Metadata / Iniaitlize" to reset everything and run through the first workflow row until Save. See if saving completes. If no, please send the log once again.

Found one "corrupted" jpg, see attached screenshot
Removed this file
Then LRTimelapse worked without problems :-)
