LRT5.5 requires Mac OS 10.15??

i updated from v5.4 to 5.5 and now i can not run LRT.. tells me i need Mac OS 10.15... i can't upgrade my 2010 Mac Pro beyond 10.14. are my only choices to stay with v5.4 or buy a new computer?

There is a beta on the download page, which should add support for MacOS >= 10.13.

On Systems older than 10.14.4 you might also need to install this library from Apple:

the beta is perfect on my 10.14.6 machine. thank you!

apple annoys me in this regard. they update the OS often and get praised for it, yet they also outdate hardware quickly by rendering software inoperable if you don't have the most recent OS. and the most recent OS often leaves behind perfectly functional legacy hardware. (rant complete)...

Oh I hear you, I want to buy the current 2020 iMac, but with their new Silicone chips around the corner the current Intel models are probably outdated even sooner than usual, and I also don't think it's a good idea to buy the first generation of a completely new hardware lineup. So annoying, maybe it's really time to switch to Windows...
