Not all keyframes show up in Lightroom.

Hello,

I am having a new problem with not all LRTimelapse generated keyframes are showing up in lightroom.

1. Click on the folder where the files are located from LRTimelapse.
2. After LRTimelapse is finished examining the files, I click on the KEyframe Wizard.
3. I hit SAVE
4. I drag the "drag to lightroom" button to lightroom Library.
5. With Add selected I import.
6. I select all files and and then select the Metadata Tab and then the Read all Metadata from files.
7. I change the filter to lrts keyframes.

Only some of the keyframes show up.

Yesterday, I kept redoing everything over and over and eventually I got all the keyframes into lightroom. But at the moment, I am only receiving 1 keyframe into lightroom when LRTimelapse created 3. Experimentally I had LRTimelapse create about 10 or so. Then, I saw five show up in Lightroom.

This is a new issue and is frustrating to the point that I can't use the product.

Any help that you guys can offer would be so appreciated.

Thank you,

I do not know if its related or not, but another issue has popped up. The Visual Preview feature hangs at 1 or 2 percent. I let it go for four hours once, no difference. I have a very powerful pc. It used to work just fine. I have created at least 50 timelapse videos using LRTimelapse. Each one was made from 700 to 2500 raw images from my Canon 90D, without issue. But lately I have the Keyframe issue and the Visual Preview issue.

I can fix the Visual Preview issue, by closing LRTimelapse and restarting it. Hope this helps with the diagnosis. Also, I found the same results with the missing keyframes, using Adobe Bridge also.

First of all, which version of LRTimelapse are you using?
Next:
- Which type of files are you using?
- Did you remove those sequences from Lightroom completely before doing the "drag to Lightroom" and import with "Add". After that another additional "Read Metadata" is not necessary.

Regarding the VP issue: check this faq: https://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-vis...w-previews

If the problems persist, please provide more detailled information and also the log file (for the VP problem) you'll get it via info menu/show log in LRT.

Hello,

Thank you for your quick reply. I am using version 5.8 build 725. I am using Canon cr2 and cr3 raw files . Yes, I have removed the sequences from Lightroom Library as part of my troubleshooting.

One thing to note, I feel my problems started after I installed LRTimelapse ver 6. I tried it, had some issues (probably my fault), uninstalled it. Reinstalled 5.8. I do not remember having any trouble with 5.8 before I tried ver 6 and reverted back.

I will experiment with reducing the threads used to help with the rendering issue and I will grab a log file the next time VP hangs at the 1 or 2% status.

With the Keyframes problem, I have also tried adobe bride and see the same thing that Lightroom sees, with the missing keyframes.

Thank you,

Mark

LRTimelapse has warned you that your images have future timestamps. That means, your cameras clock is most likely not set correctly. Normally LRTimelapse would offer to correct that. You can also do the correction manually via Metadata / Shift Timestamps.
As long as this is not fixed, you cannot expect the metadata to travel correctly between the programs.

Going back and forth between 5.8 and 6 won't have any side effects. Just make sure to uninstall the one version before installing the other. You could try the latest beta 12 of LRT 6 which is quite stable.

Hello,

I did notice the timestamp, but I let LRTimelapse correct it for me. I will look at the camera date and set that accurately and try again. Thank you four your help.
