Check out the Nic-O-Tilt on https://blackforestmotion.com - in my opinion that hardware is really good. Also their controller and slider are very well done. It's the gear that I currently use.

Hi,
I'd look for a system that had a slave mode. Then I could also trigger the system with an external intervalometer such as the Pro Timer. I have been using the NMX and Stage R of Dynamic Perception for years. https://www.dynamicperception.com
If I bought something new today, I would choose Black Forest Motion.

Do you just use their pan and tilt bundle with Pine R?
https://blackforestmotion.com/product/nt...is-bundle/
Or something more elaborate?
Seemed like their pan and tilt heads that they offered used to be manufactured by another company, with their own app. for control.
2.5 kg for that head seems to be a lot, heavier than my travel tripod.

I use the Nic-o-tilts from the beginning, and they are really good and very flexible. You can use one or two, depending on your needs. Nic-o-tilt has been designed by Nico Engel and is now being distributed by BFM.

Thanks, I guess compared to what's out there, their pan tilt bundle is pretty competitive price-wise.
They all seem to be at least around $1000 or so.
But they all seem to be fairly heavy and bulky if you want to travel around with them.
The Syrp Genie II Pan and Tilt is $1600 but is only 3.1 pounds so not too bad for travel.
However, the Genie apps. have bugs from my experience with the Genie Mini so I don't know if these German products have better apps. or not.
