when i installed lrt it wanted to install to c:programs/appdata/lightroom/roaming. i did that but all i got was the lrt splash screen. so, i installed to c:program. now lrt opens but when imported to lr 5.7 from lrt i don't get all the necessary filters from lrtimelapse. 
what can i do? if you can help it'd be much appreciated. thanks to all that read this post.

resolved. read the faq's and got my answer. shoulda done that in the first instance! live and learn i guess.
