Previously I have been using an automatic lens with QDSLR where you can change aperture, ISO and shutter speed from the app. I just started using one of my manual lens (Rokinon) and notice that since you have to fix the aperture you cannot change the aperture value at the bottom of the screen. Trying to set it to any other value it stays at f4. Am I correct to assume this value is irrelevant since QDSLR can only control shutter speed and ISO during Holy Grail?

Yes, with a manual lens, aperture cannot be controlled. Turn off the aperture ramping in the qddb/LRT settings then.
