I had purchased a license for LRT 5 just before the upgrade to 6 which made me eligible for LRT 6. The specific language is says: "LRTimelapse 6 (Free upgrade from LRTimelapse 5 Professional)"

Do I have to buy the 5->7 upgrade or does the 6->7 license work for me?

Since in fact you have a license for LRtimelapse 6 you can buy the 6->7 upgrade!
