How to change JPEG to get to Visual Deflicker?

Hello there,

I shoot pictures with GoPro Hero 4 Black but as everybody knows it only gives jpegs.

Since I want to use LRT fully, the Visual Deflicker especially, what would be the best way to deal with these images?

A prior conversion to another format or any secret function in Lightroom would allow me to do so?

I probably would be able to figure something out but I want to go the least disturbing way for the pictures I am going to edit (not lowering their quality or removing some of their important attributes etc.)

Just a brief of the steps to follow would be very helpful for me.

Thanks a lot,

Just use Lightroom to convert those JPGs to DNG, before (!) editing them. Then you can use that DNG sequence as any RAW sequence in LRTimelapse and take profit of the visual workflow.
