40cm slider for timelapse?

Offline
#1 Astarotte73
Hello everyone, I am newbie in the world of timelapse, i got a bit of know-how regarding timelapses, and i feel ready to buy a motorized slider.
I am very interested in the products by Accsoon Toprig S40 and S60.
i'm looking most of all for portability, so i would prefer the S40.

i kindly ask to experienced ppl if the shorter model could be good for timelapses and achieve parallax effect ( the effective track lenght should be 225mm, while the longer version is 425).

Thank you very much in advance!

This is very short and will only give you a good effect, if you have very, very close foregrounds. Personally, I would go for an 80cm slider at minimum.

Blackforest Motion gear is superb and works well with LRTimelapse Pro Controllers. https://blackforestmotion.com/en/
