Canon has equipped the EOS R6 R5 and R3 cameras es with a USB-C port via which the cameras can be charged and operated. I was often asked for advice when this did not work. But I could not really answer that. In the meantime I am the owner of an EOS-R6 and could get to the bottom of the matter. In the attached PDF I have described what is required for mobile operation or charging an EOS R6 R5 and R3 via the USB-C port.
