freezing display to update firmware

Offline
#1 @NewWorldImagery
contacted Gunter already, but wondering if anyone else has had an issue with getting the display to freeze with double click? I cannot get it to work and am wondering if there is anything I am missing. It froze once and that was it... then it wouldn't show up on my computer so I missed the window

Do not see this with LRTPT 2.5. Sometimes it is a bit tricky to do the double click. But so far no problem.

It's important to do the double click on the hidden reset button next to the USB port (use a paper clip or a pen). It's NOT the main Knob you need to double click.
"Freezing" means, that after the double click, a rotation on the main knob doesn't change anything anymore on the display.
After this, you can connect the Timer via USB to a computer and the LRTPROTIMER drive will mount and allow you to copy the firmware file onto it.
