What functionality of LR-Timelapse is Lightroom-specific? Seems like it should work equally well with other RAW processing software.

LR-Timelapse should as well work with other type of Software (i.e. Adobe Camera RAW, Adobe Bridge, Adobe AfterEffects) that deals with development-parameters on a XMP basis the same way Lightroom does.

Joachim wrote a nice tutorial for using LRTimelapse with Adobe Bridge / Camera Raw and Aftereffects

I'm not techinically smart enough to know if Apple Aperture works with XMP files, but if it does, does that mean LR timelapse will work with Apple Aperture? and if so, is there anyone who has tried it and can explain any other things I'd need to do to work with it?
