I made a 1300 image timelapse of the Milky Way this weekend, exposing at 3800K. Upon import, using the LRTImelapse import option and then dragging the sequence to Lightroom, the temperature of all the images has shifted to 5850K.

What? I can't conceive of a way this could have happened.

PLEASE HELP. What am I missing?

When editing the first keyframe in Lightroom, just set the Whitebalance to "As Shot". If it's already on "As Shot" set it to something else and then back to "As Shot". This is a strange behavior of Lightroom, that sometimes although the images WB is set to "As shot" LR doesn't apply it correctly.
